The President’s Award, given during Life Care’s annual management meeting at its headquarters in Cleveland, Tennessee, recognizes distinguished service in a long-term health care management role. Professionals are eligible throughout the division, including the division office in Fishers, four regional offices and 34 skilled nursing and rehab centers.
“When Carl is around in the facility, you can hear residents all saying, ‘Hey, Carl, come and talk to me. Thanks for your help earlier,’” said Jared Houck, Central Division vice president. “This is from the residents because he knows all of his residents and is fully involved with them.”
Wright was praised for working side-by-side with his staff assisting with whatever is needed, including this year when local flooding affected the building. He joined fellow associates in taking care of the issue and ensuring all residents were well cared for.
“Carl has demonstrated professional skill and compassion in dispatching his responsibilities to the associates, residents and families he serves,” said Beecher Hunter, Life Care president. “He has uniquely demonstrated a leadership style for others to emulate. This is a distinguished award to receive because it goes to the heart of our mission.”
Fifteen President’s Awards are presented annually to leaders of overall successful facilities or organizations within Life Care.
