Missouri Life Care facilities attended the 37th annual Public Administrator’s Convention in Festus, Missouri, April 25_28, 2017. Representing the Missouri facilities were Life Care Center of Brookfield, Northwood Hills Care Center, Life Care Center of Waynesville and Life Care Center of Carrollton.
The theme of the 2017 conference was Coalition of Caring. There were more than 60 vendors at the event. Life Care’s booth featured a baseball theme depicting coming together as a team.
Debbie Taylor, marketing director of Northwood Hills, has been organizing the event for Life Care for the last 15 years.
When asked what this event meant to her, Taylor stated; “I think this was a great event, we made some awesome contacts with all the new PAs from across the state, as well as with other vendors who enjoyed our booth as much as the PAs did.”
Life Care facilities were able to network with 139 public administrators from across the state of Missouri from 114 counties, with 32 new public administrators in attendance. Event organizers, along with many other vendors and public administrators, stated that Life Care Centers of Missouri had one of the best booth set ups of all the vendors. Event organizer Steve Farmer, along with Barbara Davolt, president of the Public Administrators Convention, personally invited Life Care back to next year’s event.
